Vivien joined ARS in Fall 2022. She studied Biochemistry and Neuroscience at Trinity College CT and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry at UNC. Vivien enjoys working with students from all backgrounds and feels it is important to find the best mix of accommodations for each student whenever possible. Her hope is to see a rich celebration of all the wonderful, dynamic, intersectional, and diverse disability identities our campus holds. Honoring differences, embracing change, and creating actionable accountability drive her work here at UNC.

In her free time, Vivien enjoys being active, indulging in good eats, spending time with loved ones, and challenging herself to learn something new — big or small — every day. Running and swimming are her favorite hobbies so if you see her running around campus, feel free to stop her and say hi!
